Description

A set of 4 antique Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs dating from circa 1860. With moulded cross rails, with central foliate motifs they have drop in seats and stand on tapering ring turned legs. The drop in seats are upholstered in a tan brown brocade fabric.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy joints. Good patina to mahogany. Upholstery is sound, webbing good, fairly clean, some small marks/blemishes in places. A bit of wear to the corner of the seat rails in places. A few old worm holes to the back rails of a couple of the chairs which has been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
