An attractive early 19th.century rosewood globe on stand. The tri form platform base having turned and gadrooned feet with carved edging. The fluted supporting column with good carved decoration and brass fittings. The globe has a world map by Columbus Jordglobe of Sweden and is probably a later covering to keep the globe upto date. The whole in excellent condition. More photos available. Size- Height...36.5''/ 92.5cm. Max.diameter...20''/ 51cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £45. ALL TRADE ENQUIRIES WELCOME.
