Early 19th.c. rosewood fold over table c.1835. Stands flat against the wall as an elegant console table or turn and open the top to reveal the original faded baize playing surface for cards. Could also be used as a supper table for four. Well figured rosewood veneered top with a crossbanded edge. Over a shaped apron with scroll carved ends, raised on a column pedestal with beautifully carved base on a shaped plinth with superb carved claw feet front and rear. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
