Walnut Ting Tang Lenzkirch Bracket Clock (Germany,
A nicely proportioned walnut ting tang bracket antique clock. It has a solid carved walnut and matched walnut veneer case, in the style of a late 17th Century bracket clock. It has a angled top, a carved door with a thick bevel edge glass and a stepped base. The brass dial has an engraved, silvered chapter ring and cherub spandrels. The 8 day ting tang movement sounds each 1/4 on two gongs and a single gong on the hour.This antique clock was made by the well respected German makers Lenzkirch and is numbered 989361 and dates to 1893 according to Lenzkirch serial numbering.
Current Condition
The case has been re-polished, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.

24.50cm wide 32.00cm high 16.50cm deep (9.65 inches wide 12.60 inches high 6.50 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
