This superb signed etching is by William Lionel Wyllie (1851-1931).
It is titled on the reverse of the etching (see photocopy) 'Fishing Fleet, Yarmouth, I O W.' In a book about Wyllie it is illustrated and titled 'Boulogne Fishing Luggers' It is newly mounted and backed with acid free paper in its original frame..

Wyllie was a well known painter, etcher and aquatint engraver of marine, coastal and river subjects. Born in London, he studied at Heatherly’s and at the R.A. Schools. He lived in Portsmouth and died in London.
