This vintage powder compact is suitable for use with modern loose face powder or as a handbag mirror.

A high quality vintage powder compact showing a lady in a rickshaw. Finely detailed with iridescent mother of pearl this would make an excellent pearl wedding anniversary gift. The compact it is in excellent condition. The gilt edges are decorated with scroll work. The lid lifts to reveal an excellent bevelled mirror which gives a clear & accurate reflection. The interior is beautiful gilding metal. The original silk pouch, puff & sifter are in place which means this compact can be used for modern loose powder. The base is attractive too & is decorated with a subtle spiral design.

This vintage powder compact measures 7.5 cm & weighs 88.6 grams.
