Victorian Upholstered Armchair chair nursing bedroom %%alt5%%
A delightful quality Victorian mahogany occasional chair which is upholstered in a blue/green dralon fabric with carved scroll arms. This superb piece has buttoned back upholstery with part upholstered arms. The chair is solid throughout and has been well made. The arms have been carved in mahogany with deep scroll ends. The chair sits on four legs, the front two are nicely turned with the back two having simple straight sided legs. They sit on brass castors. Seat height 40cm. There is a small mark to the fabric on the lower right-hand side, please see the image. circa 1880
