Victorian library writing desk made from mahogany on bulbous turned legs supported by brass and porcelain casters, with a tooled black leather writing surface to give it beautiful appearance , a drawer at both ends one of which has a paper label inscribed INDIA OFFICE so could have been exported to india during the British rule then imported back .
