Victorian Lace Paper Valentine C.1870's
Victorian Lace-paper Valentine Card circa 1870's. The Card has a Cobweb Design with netting over the flowers, which are made of silk. The flowers are placed onto a strip of cream silk. The lace-paper is printed in Silver, (which has oxidised),and there are areas that have been left white. The words 'Love & Faith' are placed onto the netting under the flowers.
The inside of the card has some foxing and some of the silver has penetrated through due to age.
