A large and impressive antique Victorian gothic revival throne chair. It has a carved and pierced pediment to the top rail and a solid carved back panel. The arms are turned and culminate in carved hand rests supported by barley twist columns. It has a solid seat and barley twist and turned stretchers and legs culminating in pot casters. A heavy, substantial statement piece that would work well in an entrance or hall .
