A stunning set of Victorian postal scales. As can be seen from the photos, the scales and original weights are in excellent condition. The scales have a beautiful blue enamel design which contrasts nicely with the brass. The original cloth base has been retained. The postal rates stamped in the weights tray would date the scales between 1871-1885. The scales stand 6.5cm in height and have a width of 18.0 cm. The base measures 14.4 x 9.8cm.
