Impressively large portrait of a nun dated 1922. In oil on canvas measuring 55″ x 35″. An almost full length seated portrait of a nun wearing black and white wimple and robes with gold crucifix. Well painted face and hands. Signed A.K Shea and dated 12-11-1922 in the lower right hand corner. Good condition presented unframed on the original stretcher with a label on the reverse from an artist’s supplier in Washington D.C.
