A Very beautiful Cast Iron Garden Bench. Made by The Val d’ Osne foundry in France, date of manufacture somewhere between 1830- 1850 when the design for this bench was first published. In a Gothic Stylised Tracery pattern to back, sides and apron. The arms are a semi circular form. The seat is also particularly attractive and very well made. Similar examples do not have this seat design which is published but obviously much rarer. The whole has wear consistent with age and use, it has never been repaired nor does it require any. Therefore in very good condition.
A delightful genuine piece of high quality garden furniture.
