Circa 1900, large and substantial tortoiseshell and ormolu mantel antique clock. Smothered in tortoiseshell with ormolu mounts and finial tops, leading on to cast heads with glazed doors to the front and sides. With a brass face with a plaque to the bottom from the retailers ‘Brook and Son, Edinburgh’. When striking, it plays the tune of Big Ben, and is wound by springs (rather than fusing). It is serviced and working.
