This is a very good quality antique tortoiseshell striking mantel antique clock which dates from around 1910. The clock has a caddied pediment with urn shaped finials, side windows and scroll gilt metal mounts. It has a very pretty 4 and 1/2 inch enamel dial with painted swag decoration and a twin barrel movement, stamped J.Marti which strikes the hour and half hour on a gong. The movement is also stamped with the 'Medaille de Bronze' medal.The tortoiseshell case has a superb rich colour and is in excellent order, remarkably with no damage or losses.
This has been recently overhauled by our horologist and is running perfectly. It measures 35 cms high, 20 cms wide and is 11 cms deep.
UK delivery is £15 or you are welcome to collect. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE AWAY UNTIL DECEMBER 1st.
