A.G. Spalding was founded some 144 years ago in 1876 by Albert Spalding in Chicago.
Whilst it’s roots were established with Albert's core interest of baseball & basketball the company was soon involved in all manner of sporting goods.
The company grew rapidly purchasing other companies along the way.

These boots, as you will see in the pictures supplied still clearly show the name A.G. Spalding and also clearly show ‘Made In England’
They are in beautiful condition for the year which we would estimate at being circa 1910 – 1920.
