A good country longcase clock by Thomas Noon of Burton on Trent. The case is made from oak with a swan neck pediment to the hood and turned columns either side of the glazed door. To the main body of the case are further shaped panelled sections which add to this delightful piece. The white painted dial is circular in shape with black Roman numerals and a separate sub seconds dial towards the top. The 8-day mechanical movement has been fully serviced and is in full working order. It strikes on a bell every hour. circa 1830. NB: Please note that the price does not include the delivery or setting up of this piece and although we will supply you with instructions on how to set it up we strongly recommend that you have this set up by a local clock-maker.
