Superb quality taxidermy fox’s head or mask by Stensby & Co. of Manchester. With a naturalistic snarling face and glass eyes, mounted together with the brush, on an oak shield with the original plaque recording it as having been presented to one Kathleen Parker by Capt W.H Ockleston, Master of the Cheshire Woodlands Hunt and dated November 1925. Original paper label on the reverse for T. Stensby & Co. Gunmakers of Withy Grove, Manchester. Excellent condition.
