A super Quality Swiss made Rare to find full Hunter Silver Chronograph Pocket Watch
would date to c1890s
Watch function fully working and run fine and keeps very good time
Watch dial in white enamel red time markers, Large fly back sweep hand is started and stopped by the gold side button, the 60 second small dial continues to run and the other small dial records the minutes passed
Red print reads 5 miles pre hour from 1/4 mile distance
the outer glass bezel also with time reading marks so the watch used for many different timings
Dial in excellent condition no cracks or chips ,blue steel hands
Watch Crystal in excellent condition no cracks or chips
The high quality Chronograph Swiss movement is clean and functions correctly
Beautiful polished silver case opens by pressing the winding button
both case hinges prefect , strong silver top bow
with side pin button to press in to set the time
Case Hallmarked 935 grade of silver and with the two Swiss silver hallmarks bears
Watch takes a full wind with a strong tick
Very lightly engraved on the inner case J.C. Cairns Portsmouth could there be a Naval connection?
