Stunning Victorian Gothic Carved Oak Throne Chair

This is a superb very large arm chair, it is decorated with many barley twist carvings, the back has an upholstered panel topped off with a shield and Rampant Lions, and the faces of the beasts on the end of the arm rest look very fearsome
The Upholstery on the chair is a fine needle point, this seems to be original, it is in generally good if somewhat faded condition with a little wear on the arm rests
The chair is in very good condition, the wood carvings have a very good patina

The chair back is 51” high, the front is 28” wide, 29” deep and the seat is 19” high
