Stunning Mid Century Hand Embroidered Picture

A stunning large original design hand embroidered picture of the 4 seasons in a fantastic period style with strong Swedish influences. The design is unique and you can still see the chalk marks where the artist has outlined their design. Unfortunately there is no details as to who the artist is, but they are clearly at the top of their game, the quality is amazing and the amount of hours that has gone into this piece must be numerous.
The picture is backed in what looks like silk and I would guess that it dates from the late 1960’s to the early 1970’s. The picture is large at 72cm x 42cm
Condition
The condition is excellent, all the colours are still very bright. There are some marks to the reverse and one slightly loose tread to the leaf bottom right.
This is a must have piece for any fan of mid century modern and am sure this will only go up in value over time.
