A nice quality French striking and repeating carriage antique clock. A brass case with finely fretted rococo dial masking. An enamel dial with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating and a lever escapement. Complete with the original travelling box. Circa 1900.

Height 4 1/2 " / 12 cms. (size with handle down) Width 3 1/2 " / 9 cms Depth 3 " / 8 cms.
