Specimen William Morris Watermark Paper
Speciman Pamphlet of Hand Made Paper printed on the original Kelmscott Press. Watermarked with the Three leaves and flowers between W and M. of William Morris, dated approximately 1890/91. This paper is probably some of the last made for the Kelmscott Press, founded by William Morris and hand made by Joseph Batchelor. The Paper was housed at the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge in 1974. There was paper for 52 copies only. This copy is No.6 of 52.However only 38 were made available. Sir William Morris pattern 'Willow' paper covers, labelled with Sir Edward Burne-Jones woodcut of The Three Graces.
