A very attractive small country longcase clock. It has a solid oak case with mahogany crossbanding and inlaid shell motifs in the door and base. The flat top hood has reeded side columns and matching corner columns in the trunk and stands on small ogee bracket feet. The 12 inch painted dial has floral painting and is signed by the maker Callcott of Bolton. It has a date window and a subsidiary seconds dial.The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and is signed by the maker on the frontplate and dated 1813.

Current Condition
The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this antique clock striking please email us.
