The Right Hon.Sir Robert Peel's Bookplate dated circa 1834.
Sir Robert was Prime Minister of Great Britain and Ireland from 1834-1835 and again in 1841-1846.
Sir Robert pioneered the modern concept of the Police Force.(The Bookplate is attached at the top to the background paper)
