A delightful watercolour which I believe is of St. Ives in Cornwall. According to the owner it comes from Cornwall but which harbour it is is uncertain. I have trawled Google Earth and St Ives is the only one with a harbour and lighthouse that resembles the picture.
It is painted by an artist with the initials GHO in 1924 and is titles "The Lighthouse". It shows two fishermen in a boat teturning to the harbour whilst one continues line fishing. Competently painted with a refreshing colour pallet.

The condition is very good.
The frame measures 50cms by 40cms.
