Antique set of 4 Regency C1825 rosewood dining chairs.

Fantastic age, colour and patina. Beautiful carved front legs and backs.

Solid, very heavy and strong with no loose joints. Solid rosewood construction with no woodworm.

Good new reupholstery job in a heavy weight fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour. Generously stuffed seats with traditional materials.

Overall maximum dimensions:

50cmW x 53cmD x 83cmH (46cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical repairs (in particular to one back) as is to be expected with any period set of dining chairs, but all is good and strong now. Finials are missing from the carved decoration on either side of the seats.
