Scottish Landscape: Loch Goil ?

Signed and dated 1916
Francis E Jamieson was an traditional English Painter of the Victorian School, noted for his paintings of Scottish Landscapes.
In the early 20th Century and between the Ist and 2nd World Wars he was one of the most fashionable and prolific artists of his time. He was known to have painted under several different names and was also contracted to paint scenes exclusively for various antique furniture stores.
This painting is in very good condition, and is inscribed indistinctly 'Loch Goil' in pencil on the back of the wooden stretchered frame.
