A superb original Regency chamfer top bracket antique clock. It has a traditional chamfer top with brass inlaid fret corners ,an inset base panel and brass side frets with embossed carrying handles. The convex 8" diameter dial has Roman numerals and is signed by the Maker "Farr & Son, Bristol". The 8 day twin fusee movement strikes the hours on a bell and has an engraved backplate with side straps and an original matching engraved pendulum with a fine regulation adjustment screw.

Provenance
The Farrs were a antique clock making family in Bristol comprising of John, Thomas and Stephen, listed as working from 1790 to 1830
