A delightfully pretty unused Margaret Rose compact mirror which is ideal for use as a handbag mirror or with standard sizes (60 - 67 mm diameter) pressed face powder. The lid is decorated with embroidered dog-roses and foliage. The lid is protected by an acetate cover which has kept the floral display pristine. As the makers applied a coat of lacquer to this accessory it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The mirror gives a good clear and accurate reflection. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The original puff and spacer ring are present. The spacer ring is signed Margaret Rose MADE IN ENGLAND. The powder well is lined with the original card insert. The compact is in very good condition.

Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 85.5 grams. A pristine velvet pouch is included.
