Red Leather Armchair c.1910. Edwardian red tan %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Delightful little Edwardian era bothy type leather armchair c.1910. Shaped wingback and roll over arms over a loose feather filled seat cushion and sprung seat. Raised on tall turned bun feet at the front. Original red leather upholstery beautifully worn with age, with good patina to the backrest and tops of the arms, left dry and unpolished on the sides and base. The small darker patch on the backrest hides an earlier repair. Original brass studwork. Solid and sturdy with firm springs. The cushion has been freshly recovered in a rich scarlet velvet.
Dimensions: width 34″, depth 28″, height 33″.
