Rare Unic Silver 0.800 Four colour Chronograph
Pocket Watch C.1928
This is a rare combination of a 4 coloured chronograph dial pocket watch housed in a 0.800 silver case.
Dial – the white enamel has a pair of gilt hands, a blue steel sweep chronograph hand and two blue steel subsidiary hands. The racing dial is in 4 colours, black, blue, red, and green with the register using these colours also and this type of dial is most commonly associated with any type of racing. The outer edge reads “Kilometres a l’Heures” and the dial is signed “Unic”.
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with exposed steel work for a start, stop, fly back and reset chronograph function with a 30-minute register. The movement is in superb condition.
Case – the movement comes in a silver 0.800 open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel, and watch paper. The case is in excellent condition.
