Dating to 1790 this original surviving George III poster or handbill was the race card of its day. The races at Wold Carr near Hull are listed from Tuesday 29th June 1790 to Friday 2nd July with all of the runners, riders and horse race owners listed.

Earl Fitzwilliam's bay horse, Snip, a five year old was ran on the tuesday with Mr Thompson's colt, Smoke Jack, running on the friday.

The document was printed by a local printer J. Ferraby in the Butchery, Hull.

A rare surviving example of horse racing history.
