This is a very rare and special find - an original Art Deco Evening in Paris Compact & Perfume Set by Bourjois in its original signed fitted cardoard box - Carefully preserved in the original packaging, the octagonal compact looks totally unused, in the traditional deep cobalt blue, with a Bourjois signed puff and orginal powder. Measuring c. 2" inch dia. All clasps and hinges are perfect opening to reveal a nice clean mirror and interior. The Perfume bottle measures just over 2" tall, and the bakelite top has its original tassle -There is 9/10 perfume in the bottle, but I dont think it has been used, possibly evaporated over the years. The box is (in my opinion) fantastic for its age, but does show signs commensurate with age, but it has served its purpose in protection and which does not detract from such a wonderful collectable piece sure to delight the most discerning of buyers! - don't miss it!.
