Randall London Twin Fusee Striking Dial Wall Clock
A rarer English twin fusee striking dial wall antique clock. A 12" painted dial signed 'RANDALL, LONDON' with blued steel hands. A well proportioned mahogany case with a brass bezel surround. Twin side sound fretted side doors and an arched top case. An 8-day duration double fusee mechanism striking the hours on a gong. Signed also 'Randall' to the dial back. Circa 1875.
William Randall of London is recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working from 1869-1881.
