The beautifully made walnut case which is so typical of the standard of Lenzkirch has brass reeded quarter columns, fine brass fretwork panels to the front and finely pierced wooden fretwork panels to the sides. each aperture including the dial has a gilt recessed surround and the whole antique clock is set off with an intricate gilt scrollwork dial.
The well made Lenzkirch movement has been fully overhauled and comes with a full three years guarantee for your peace of mind.

Lenzkirch was without a doubt the finest 19th century German clockmaker of the time and it is well known that his antique clocks although considerably more expensive than the other German makers of the time ( Winterhalder and Hoffmeier, etc..) this high price was always reflected in the quality of not only the movements but of the choice and styles of his cases.
