Fabulous pair of mid 19th.c. broad arm high back Windsor armchairs c.1840. A well matched pair, of very slightly different dimensions. Both with beautifully figured, shaped and pierced yew wood backsplats, yew wood top rails, arms and spindles over generously proportioned saddle seats in elm. Raised on turned yew legs and stretchers. Excellent condition and particularly good colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
