Pair Of Parker Knoll Chairs For Reupholstery
An attractive pair of Parker Knoll wingback armchairs. We date these armchairs to around the 60/70s. The chairs sit on two cabriole legs with pad feet at the front and two splayed square section legs to the rear.
The arm chairs have a wing back with scrolled armrests. The armchairs are upholstered in a two tone green striped material. The seats are supplied with loose seat cushions.
The armchair has an overall height of 38" (97cm), a depth of 29" (74cm), a width of 28" (71cm), a seat height of 16.5" (42cm), a seat width of 18.5" (47cm) and a seat depth of 20" (51cm).
This attractive pair of armchairs remain in good condition. There is a bit of play to the frames and there is wear to the finish on the legs. The material is showing some signs of wear, this is primarily to the armrests where it has worn a bit. There are a few marks to the material.
These remain a very stylish and elegant pair of armchairs. They are both comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come. This could make a great reupholstery project for someone with the requisite skills.
