An attractive pair of Art Deco armchairs. We date these armchairs to the early 20th century.

The chairs have very sturdy and heavy frames.

The armchairs sit on two bun feet at the front and rear, all on castors.

The side panels continue up to form the arm rests, which are well padded and form a square design.

The armrests, backrests and seat are well padded with a loose seat cushion.

The chairs have been upholstered in a heavy blue patterned fabric.

The armchairs have a height of 33.5" (85cm) with an overall width of 37" (94cm) and an overall depth of 40.5" (103cm). They have a backrest height of 20" (51cm), a seat height of 15.5" (40cm), a seat width of 19" (49cm) and a seat depth of 22.5" (57cm).

These attractive armchairs remain in good condition. The material has some marks, primarily to the arm rests, and as such would provide an ideal reupholstery project for someone with the requisite skills.

These remain a very stylish and elegant pair of armchairs. They are very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
