This pair of Pair of George VI leather wing chairs are covered in hand dyed leather. Being hand dyed is a pointer to the quality and expense of these chairs when they were first made.
Normally chairs of this period have cheap pre dyed leather off a roll, whereas these have proper leather hides used in the upholstery process, and the hundreds of brass studs each tapped in meticulously that also adds to the superb look these chairs give.
The deep buttoned backs and the shaped wings give these Pair of George VI leather wing chairs the kerbside appeal.
The chairs stand on square moulded legs with joining stretchers very much in the classic Georgian style.
