Pair of English 19th Century Antique Postilion Leather Boots

A wonderful pair of original antique tall leather postilion boots. Beautifully made and still suprisingly supple. They freestand well and are around a size nine. A postilion was a man who rode one of a pair of horses that pulled a coach. It could be very dangerous if a leg became caught between the horses so these were worn for protection. Amazing things!
