This pair of Edwardian wing-back armchairs have a lovely shape and style, but would benefit from re-upholstery. They have sprung seats with removable seat cushions, shaped arm supports and wing-backs. They are supported on castors, which are not original - one of the chairs has shepherd castors and the other has metal and plastic castors. They are over-upholstered. The upholstery is not original and is dated, grubby, faded and worn. We would estimate the chairs to date from c.1900-1910.

Condition: Overall this handsome pair of chairs would benefit from reupholstery. The upholstery is dated, faded, grubby and worn and has some fraying and holing in places. The joints are solid with only minimal movement.
