Pair of Danish Rosewood and Leather Armchairs
A stunning pair of Danish rosewood and leather Capella armchairs by Illum Wikkelso. They were made in Denmark in the 1960’s.
The quality is outstanding, the solid rosewood frames are beautifully constructed and have gorgeous grain patterns. There are original black leather cushions which contrast beautifully with the frame. These are quite compact armchairs, yet they are still very comfortable.
The condition is superb for their age, we have had the rosewood frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, with brand new Pirelli webbing under the seats. The leather cushions are in amazing condition, with minimal wear to the leather.
We also have a matching foot stool and matching pair of armchairs available separately, seen listed under our other items for sale.
The wood is Santos rosewood, which does not require a CITES or article 10.

Height without cushions – 70 cm , 27.5 inches
