Pair of Antique Swedish Biedermeier Armchairs
Pair of antique Swedish Biedermeier armchairs with ‘Trafalgar Backs’ & scroll over open arms. They also have some fine ebonised features like the fan shaped carvings & the small balls. These armchairs have very generous proportions & have front sabre legs. They have been just been imported from Sweden, re-polished & re-upholstered in a neutral coloured fabric. They are in excellent condition throughout & I would date them to around the 1890 period.
