Pair of Antique French Gilt Wood Salon Armchairs
Pair of antique French gilt wood salon armchairs in good original naturally distressed condition. The gilding is worn in all the right places, which I think really adds to the overall character. They are structurally sound & have just been re-upholstered in a cream strong fabric. These armchairs are finely carved all over & sit on grooved turned legs. I would date them to around the 1910 period. Please enlarge all the images to see the fine detail & the general condition.
Width - 24.8", 63 cm
Depth - 21", 53 cm
Height - 36.6", 93 cm
Seat height - 15.7", 40 cm
