A charming pair of antique Georgian oak hall chairs with later carving. They have solid oak seats and stand on square legs along with 4 stretchers and baluster shaped back splat. They have extensively carved backs, the carving echoed on the side rails, seat rails and front legs. Lovely age, colour and patina to the oak. Would make a stunning kitchen, bedroom or hall chairs.

Fairly solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age – some old worm holes to the front of the seat and back of the legs. Quite a few old mends to the backs, uprights and back legs. Splits to the seats. Front stretcher higher on one chair than other.
