A pair of finely carved 19th century oak newel post caps in the form of choristers.

Each figure is extremely well carved with exceptional attention to detail. Both caps are very tactile with a wonderful patina.

A truly stunning pair of carvings that would look superb as newel posts, bookends or simply as decorative pieces in their own right.
