A very high quality medium oak musical tube chiming longcase clock. A. J. Fraser Preston. Jeweller/Watchmaker Lune Street Preston.
This antique clock was purchased new in 1936 as a presentation clock and has been in the same ownership since. Beautiful mellow medium quarter cut oak case. Westminster Whittingham St. Michaels all striking on nine tubes. Best quality movement. Fine quality engraved silvered dial. Dead Beat Escapement and maintaining power. Dial only 10 1/2" wide. Completely original and with original keys. Clock was last serviced about 15 years ago. Will be checked and serviced again on purchase. A very nice antique clock.
77" tall x 17" wide x 12" deep. Trunk 12" wide. Dial 10 1/2" wide x 15" tall.
