An mpressive mid 19th Cent musical bracket antique clock by George Wadham of Bath, Somerset. He is listed as working there from 1846 to 1878. The fabuloue Gothic design case is very good quality. It is in beautifully figured mahogany. It also comes with its original wall bracket.
The masive 3 train fusee movement has a smart silvered dial with strike silent and regulation dials. The movement chimes on the quaters on a nest of 8 bells and strikes the hours on a coliled gong.
The case is in excellent, unrestored condition and has retained its original finish. There is a small veneer chip to the dial door(see pictures)
The movement is in good working order and keeping good time.
The maximum dimensions are:
76cm (30") high (excluding bracket)
46cm (18") wide
24cm (9.5") deep
