Mahogany painted face 8 day grandfather / longcase clock. A wonderful, typical south country antique clock by william jenkins, bristol. The case, in beautifully figured mahogany with intricate herringbone style inlay detailing and rope twist columns, the hood has arched pediment with herringbone inlay and rope twist column supports, the face, with seconds hand and calendar, is painted with pastoral scenes.
